Continued Bonds is a creative writing and reflection application designed to support individuals processing bereavement. It provides guided writing prompts, AI-generated artwork, and a personal gallery to help you document your grief journey.
Continued Bonds is not a medical service, therapy, or clinical treatment. It is a complementary tool for personal reflection and creative expression. If you are in crisis or need professional support, please contact a qualified mental health professional or a crisis helpline such as Samaritans (116 123).
Your writing and reflections remain yours. We do not claim ownership of anything you write. The AI-generated artwork created from your writing sessions is provided for your personal use within the app and may be downloaded or shared for personal, non-commercial purposes.
By submitting writing, you grant us a limited licence to process it through Google Gemini AI solely to generate your emotion analysis and memorial artwork. Your writing is the only data sent to Google — your name, email, and all other account information stay within our systems and are never shared. If you follow the app's guidance and avoid including names or identifying details, no personally identifiable information leaves the app.

The artwork and emotion analysis generated by the app is produced by AI and is not reviewed by a human. It is intended as a creative reflection tool, not a clinical assessment. Results may not always be accurate or representative of your feelings.
We aim to keep Continued Bonds available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided “as is” and we may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Continued Bonds and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim (which, for a free service, is zero).
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the app. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
